But we know them well, and I know their parents. They live right across the street. They're just good kids who happen to be nice to littles. I do feel like I have to make more of an effort to "connect" with those kids, just so they know I'm around and supervising.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05170500094049647497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4410765988179779659.post-42380459293790125852008-08-01T20:49:00.000-04:002008-08-01T20:49:00.000-04:00mmmmm....Maybe kids don't look at age the way we a...mmmmm....Maybe kids don't look at age the way we adults do. As long as the older kid doesn't seem to be teaching your child any bad behavior, I would let them play. My daughter can play with boy and girls of any age. Sometimes it seems strange to me, other times I think she is just happy to have ANYONE to play with.Susiewearsthepantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02416191781443415275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4410765988179779659.post-41579101573215616822008-08-01T13:16:00.000-04:002008-08-01T13:16:00.000-04:00I had a 4-years-older-than-me friend when I was ab...I had a 4-years-older-than-me friend when I was about 12, although she was definitely the boss in the friendship. In fact, she was more like a mentor or something. Generally, though, I stuck to my own age group: even one grade behind seemed a lot younger.Swistlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13126937282657655091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4410765988179779659.post-40245693952898945092008-08-01T13:15:00.000-04:002008-08-01T13:15:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Swistlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13126937282657655091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4410765988179779659.post-38875962605789483182008-08-01T12:43:00.000-04:002008-08-01T12:43:00.000-04:00I can see why you'd feel a little strange about it...I can see why you'd feel a little strange about it. There are 2 little boys in our neigborhood who are 10 years old and like to play with d, who is only 3. It makes me feel weird. What could a 3 yo and a 10 yo have in common? <BR/>We are always there though, so it's not that big of a deal I guess.d e v a nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02514260896810474173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4410765988179779659.post-49771162202407651112008-08-01T11:35:00.000-04:002008-08-01T11:35:00.000-04:00Hmmmm. I guess as long as they're playing nicely they're fine. And I bet it's a summer thing too. As long as Isaac is nice to Patrick once Patrick starts school, then it's probably good.Kristin....https://www.blogger.com/profile/04577486067704642675noreply@blogger.com
